The Hex editor opens the bytes of the file currently loaded in Source, so you can inspect — and, carefully, edit — its raw contents. Open it from the Hex button on the toolbar (Figure 1).
Warning — The hex editor is an early preview (its window is labelled “Alfa”) and lets you change raw bytes directly. Edit only if you know exactly what you are doing, and always keep a backup — an incorrect change can corrupt the file.
