
Presets are predefined lists of fault codes that the software can remove in a single operation, so you do not have to enter the same codes by hand for jobs you do often. Open them from the Presets button on the toolbar, which offers two modes: Offline (presets stored on your computer) and Online (presets fetched from the online library).
The offline area lists the presets available on your PC, kept in the “DTC Remover\Presets” folder inside your Documents folder (Figure 1).

Selecting a preset shows the list of fault codes it contains — these are all removed together in one operation (Figure 2). A summary line reports how many presets were found.

Tick the codes you want and press the play button to remove all the selected faults at once; you can tick several rows to remove them together (Figure 3). Other buttons let you memorise the window position (and reset it to the default), view a log of every removed fault, and auto-close the window when the operation finishes.

Online presets remove every fault associated with a given vehicle component in one go — handy when you are removing a specific device. The steps below follow a real example: disabling DPF, AdBlue and EGR on a Peugeot 3008 EDC17C60 1.6 HDi 120 cv Euro 6, after selecting the ECU model and loading the file.
Click the Presets button (Figure 4), then choose Online in the window that offers Offline and Online (Figure 5).


The window then shows the preset functions available for the selected ECU (Figure 6). Tick the devices to remove (here DPF, AdBlue, EGR) and press the blue PLAY FLAGGED button to start (Figure 7).


When it finishes, a summary window reports how many faults were removed for each function (Figure 8). Close the summary, then return to the main window and press SAVE to write the processed file (see Removing fault codes).

Note — Online presets are a PowerTools-edition feature and require an active online-services subscription. Offline presets work without a subscription.
